Therapeutic fasting is a unique program for adults wishing to reduce body weight, improve immunity and overall body fitness, get rid of accumulated toxins in the body, and delay the ageing process.

Therapeutic fasting uses the body's self-regulatory abilities. During fasting, the body automatically switches to internal nutrition, cellular detox is activated. The results include the disappearance of scars, improvement of eyesight, normalisation of blood pressure, stabilisation of sugar levels, regulation of cholesterol, and reversal of civilisation diseases.

Therapeutic fasting is based on the phenomenon of autophagy, a cellular detox involving the body's "self-eating" of the damaged and dead cells. After only approx. 40 hours of fasting, the body reaches for deposits stored in cells and eliminates viruses, bacteria, etc. It was professor Yoshinori Ōsumi who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology in 2016 for studying and describing autophagy.

Therapeutic fasting is a program in which the prerequisite for success is the consistent implementation of the plan developed by our specialists. A standard stay, in a group of up to 10 persons, lasts 14 days. The first 3 days involve an introduction to fasting based on a vegetable and fruit diet. The following days start a 7-day proper fasting followed by patients undergoing 4 days of readaptation.
