A new addition to the offer of the Sofra Health Institute in Mielno is the baltic health diet (from February 4, 2023) - a suggestion for patients wishing to introduce the prevention of civilization diseases and reduce weight.

The Baltic health diet features a high concentration of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, and thus it offers high antioxidants with anti-inflammatory properties. It is rich in fish, nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, herbs, vegetables and fruits, high-fibre bread, and chlorella which is classified as a superfood.

  • Homemade high-fibre prebiotic bread as part of the daily menu;
  • Vegetables and fruits from certified sources and herbs grown in our organic greenhouses
  • Health-promoting fresh vegetable and fruit shakes with a reserved recipe, served daily as a snack,
  • Four days of fasting (starvation diet) every Monday and Thursday (during your 14-day stay), during which we serve you vegetable broth and herbal infusions For dinner, we serve a cocktail with a bouquet of vitamins.

The Japanese alga, also known as chlorella, is an excellent source of nucleic acids, amino acids, sugars, and vitamins. For this reason, it is considered one of the so-called superfoods. This vitamin bomb, which also contains omega-3 fatty acids and an abundance of minerals, is mainly used in the Baltic longevity diet as a supplement to green smoothies.
